Why are carbohydrates and protein so important for an effective workout?
Carbohydrates are one of the most important sources of energy for the body and an adequate supply is particularly important for an effective unit and subsequent regeneration during training. Training can only lead to muscle building and more strength in the long term if the body has enough energy available.
Protein, as the most important component of muscles, is directly involved in building and maintaining muscle mass. A sufficient and quickly available supply of proteins is particularly important for regeneration after training. Depleted stores want to be replenished in order to keep the use of the body\'s own protein for muscle maintenance as low as possible. A long-term undersupply of protein can even lead to the breakdown of existing muscles during intensive training sessions.
vitamins and healthy fats
The body needs both vitamins and healthy fats for numerous bodily functions (metabolic processes, enzyme formation, etc.). Especially in phases of intensive training and physical exertion, it is important to ensure an adequate supply so that the body has the essential components that it needs to absorb from food. In addition to a healthy and balanced diet, the CLEAN MEAL shake can also make a contribution.
How is the CLEAN MEAL diet shake used?
The powder can be mixed with water, milk or plant-based milk alternatives (almond milk, oat milk or similar) in a shaker and makes a delicious, filling and creamy shake. He has about 215 kcal per portion mixed with water, mixed with milk about 400 kcal.
The shake can be used as a meal replacement, for example when you need to be quick before training and there is no time for a proper meal. It can also be used as a snack to supplement the normal diet when a calorie surplus is desired to build muscle.
CLEAN MEAL is not a substitute for a healthy and balanced diet.
