Arginine with the best bioavailability L-arginine is an important amino acid in the urea and citric acid cycle. It thus plays a direct role in regulating nitric oxide levels, which are important for proper blood circulation, and in providing energy. Unlike citrulline, which takes 40-60 minutes to raise arginine levels after ingestion, arginine alphaketoglutarate is a tad faster at raising serum levels. A combined intake of both substances is therefore recommended for maximum synergy effects. How to take Core L-Arginine AKG correctly:
